How to Take Measurements

The creations are made through a process custom to the wearer. When taking measurements it is important to be as accurate as possible. Below is a description on how to take the proper measurement.

All measurements are taken in inches, rounding up where necessary.

A: Height: Making sure the model is standing straight and tall, measure from the floor to the top of the head.

B: Neckline Height: Keeping straight and tall, measure from the floor to the neckline. This is where a collar would top off on a shirt.

C: Back: Measure from the neckline down to the bottom of the buttock.

D: Belly Button: Measure from the neckline in a straight line down to the belly button.

E: Torso to Knee: Measure from the neckline down to the back of the knee.

F: Neckline: Using a starting point on the left side of the neck, measure around the neckline where the model's collar should fall, back to the starting point.

G: Bicep: Start a few inches up from the elbow, measure around the arm at the lower bicep being sure to end at the starting point. .

H: Pelvis: Starting at the belly button, measure down thru the legs and up the back to the top of the buttock.

I: Torso: From the top of a shoulder, measure down to the crotch in the front and up the back to the starting point at the top of the shoulder.

J: Chest: Starting under the arm pit on the left side, measure around the chest cavity to the starting point. Make sure the measuring tape is just above the nipple.
